Strengthening the Foundation of R&D and Production Safety: HOSCIEN Conducts Comprehensive Annual Safety Training

To continuously reinforce safety foundations and enhance risk awareness among all employees, HOSCIEN recently organized its annual specialized safety training. This training systematically outlined key risks across all operational stages, delivering comprehensive guidance on risk control, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and accountability implementation. The aim is to ensure the safe, controlled, and standardized operation of the company's research, development, and production activities.

I. Focusing on Critical Equipment, Implementing Specialized Controls
Equipment safety is the primary prerequisite for ensuring smooth R&D and production activities. Based on equipment characteristics and usage scenarios, this training systematically reviewed risks associated with critical equipment and reiterated control requirements to ensure all operations remain safe and controlled.

Precision Testing Instruments: Emphasis was placed on standard operating procedures, regular calibration and maintenance, and proper environmental management to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of test results, as well as the long-term stable operation of the equipment.

Pressure and Special Equipment: Clear requirements were established for the regular inspection of equipment such as air compressors and high-pressure reactors, calibration of safety accessories, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

High-Power, High-Temperature, and High-Speed Equipment: Specialized safety management for production equipment, high-temperature heating devices, and high-speed machinery was explained in detail. Regular inspections and load monitoring for high-power equipment are mandated, with a focus on preventing electrical fire risks caused by aging circuits or overloads.

II. Strict Management Processes, Solidifying Safety Standards
The company integrates systematic management requirements into every aspect of daily operations:

Full-Lifecycle Chemical Management: Strict control is enforced throughout the entire process—from procurement, storage, and dispensing to disposal—ensuring segregated storage, clear inventory records, and compliant disposal. This guarantees traceability and controlled risk.

Equipment and Operation Standardization: Standard operating procedures (SOPs), regular maintenance schedules, and safety checklists are established and implemented for critical equipment. Specific job positions require certified operational qualifications to prevent unauthorized or non-compliant operations.

III. Enhancing Emergency Preparedness, Improving Response Capability
The company emphasizes building comprehensive safety capabilities from prevention to response:

Emergency Facilities and Plans: Ensuring fire extinguishers, emergency eyewash/showers, first-aid kits, and other facilities are clearly marked, properly stored, and maintained in good condition. Regular hands-on drills are conducted to ensure employees are familiar with their locations and usage.

Incident Response Procedures: Systematic training covers initial control measures, personnel evacuation, and proper reporting procedures for situations such as fires, chemical burns, electric shocks, and leaks. This enhances employees' ability for self-rescue, mutual aid, and coordinated response during emergencies.

IV. Implementing Company-Wide Responsibility, Building a Safety Culture Together
Safety is a shared responsibility of all employees. The company has established a clear safety accountability system defining responsibilities at all levels and positions. Through regular training, inspections, and evaluations, safety standards are internalized into the conscious actions of every employee, ensuring a rigorous and pragmatic safety culture is deeply embedded into every aspect of the company's operations.

This training is a routine initiative within the company's efforts to strengthen its safety management system and fulfill its primary responsibility. We firmly believe that only by upholding the highest standards, enforcing the strictest regulations, and diligently applying safety requirements to every detail of R&D and production can we build the most solid foundation for the company's stable operation and sustainable development.
