3M Novec 1710 Electronic Grade Coating is a high-concentration, single-component fluorinated polymer solution using 3M Novec 7100DL Engineered Fluid as the solvent, characterized by low viscosity and low surface tension. Designed for moisture and corrosion protection of printed circuit boards and electronic components, it dries to form an ultra-thin, transparent coating with excellent hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. Beyond direct use as a protective coating, 1710 can also serve as a concentrate to replenish solid content in application baths or be blended with other materials to create customized coating systems.
